We had 45 men for our first “Men’s Talk” here Monday night! It was a blessing to me, and I hope it was to the men who came. Next month, Pastor Nathan will co-lead it with me. We will split into two groups. We hope for more discussion, transparency, and growth as we go into the future. If the need is there, we will go to every two weeks! We are working on a similar group for women. Thanks for your patience!

AWANA, Student Ministry, and Adult Bible Study start this Wednesday! Adult Bible Study meets in the Worship Center at 6:20 p.m. I will start by teaching on baptism. I would love to see you.

The AWANA Ministry Conference this year is Aug. 29 at Antioch Baptist Church in Gladstone, Mo. Gordon and Terri Brest will both be presenting at that conference! We are proud of you!

On Aug. 30, I will preach a sermon about where we’ve been as a church, and where we believe God is taking us in the future. We’ve been greatly blessed since COVID, and we want to continue to reach more with the gospel of our Lord Jesus!

Today we continue in the series “Famous Last Words.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 teaches us about our inerrant Bible and her wonderful words of life. We will sing about that theme as well as preach it today!
