What a great semester we have had with your students! I am so encouraged by the level of engagement and discussion taking place each and every Wednesday. In addition, I am so thankful for my student ministry leaders. Everything we do in the Student Ministry is a collective effort and I’m so grateful for them. Join me in praying for them as they seek to speak truth to our students in a culture that is ever-increasingly hostile towards Christians.
I’m also praying for you. This is a difficult season for many people. So much has changed over the past 12 months. The struggles and hurdles of remote learning are real, not only for students, but also for parents. The stress of coronavirus, is real. Further, the holidays are often a source of stress and pressure on parents. And I’m well aware that these “stressors” barely scratch the surface. Please know, I am praying for you.
While so much has changed, so much remains the same. Jesus is King. God is still sovereign, and He is good. In this we find our strength and our hope.
Starting in January, we will be walking through the first seven chapters of Daniel. Daniel was a teenager when King Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem, separated Daniel from his family, and sent Daniel (and other young men like him) to the capital city of Babylon. Daniel was never allowed to return home. This book was written to encourage hopeless exiles that, despite how it looks, God is king over all others kings and His kingdom is coming.
Included below is the Spring 2021 Student Ministry calendar. There is much to look forward to in our Student Ministry! In late January, students will be able to attend a Virtual Ready Conference. We plan on going bowling in March. And in April, High School Seniors are invited to attend the Senior Trip to Windermere at Lake Of The Ozarks! And of course, each Wednesday we’ll gather for games, fellowship, prayer, and the study of God’s Word.
We will send updates via email. If you are not already receiving these emails, please contact Pastor Nathan. If you are on social media, please follow us! Any important information that parents/students need to be aware of will be posted on these channels:
