We head into Thanksgiving with hearts full of gratitude for what God is doing in our midst this year! He is faithful! Yesterday was the 2024 Mission Trip Informational Meeting. Last night, we provided food and refreshments at the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting. Thanks to all of you who participated.
We have a little surprise for you this morning during worship! Be ready! It will be a blessing!
If you are new to West Haven, here’s what we do on this Sunday before Thanksgiving.
- We have a normal Sunday morning worship service.
- At 4:30 in the classroom off the foyer, we have a budget hearing. If you have questions about the 2024 Budget, the Stewardship Team will be there to answer.
- At 5 p.m. we have our annual Thanksgiving Dinner in the fellowship hall, which is on the lower level. This is a great time to bring guests, and many come! It is a wonderful time of fellowship and making new friends. I hope you’ll be with us tonight.
I’ll be taking Tuesday and Wednesday off this week. Tara and I will celebrate on Thursday, as I hope you are able to also! If you are traveling this week, I pray you are able to have gospel conversations with lost family members. And I pray God grants you a safe return home. If you are in town, have a great time. And bring relatives with you to church on Sunday! It would be great to have your family members as guests!
Jenny Slusser delivered 75 “Operation Christmas Child” boxes this week! Thanks for your generosity! OCC is a time-tested ministry and a way to get the gospel around the world!
