Good Day, West Haven! I am very excited about a few events in the near future that, I believe, will enrich you spiritually, and strengthen/encourage you in fellowship. Here are some highlights. We encourage you to read the weekly bulletin, and if you are on social media, follow us on Facebook & Instagram.

On Saturday December 5th at 9 a.m., consider joining me for the first “Christ & Coffee” event. This is an event that I am hoping to hold regularly. At each “Christ & Coffee” event, we will learn about “Specialty Coffee”, and also open God’s Word for a time of study and discussion. Additional information, specific to the first event, is found later in the bulletin. Please note, registration is required to help with the planning/purchasing of supplies.

Students, please consider attending our D-Now weekend from January 29th to 31st. D-Now is an in-town retreat designed to help middle and high school students connect and grow in their relationship with God. And it is a LOT of fun! I attended several of these when I was in youth group, and I have MANY great memories from those weekends. A trip to SkyZone is being scheduled for one of our large group activities. The cost will be $50. Additional information will be made available mid-November. In addition, I anticipate having the entire Spring Student Ministry schedule available by the end of November.

If you would like to investigate membership at West Haven, please join Pastor Mike and myself for lunch after the second service on Dec. 13. We will tell you a little bit about ourselves and West Haven. You can ask any questions you like and decide if you want to proceed with membership. There is a signup link at our website at westhavenbaptist.org or you can talk to myself or Mike to get enrolled.

On a personal note, thank you so much for the recognition last week during Pastor Appreciation month. Jenny and I are deeply appreciative! We love serving here. We love serving you. We love you all deeply.

Soli Deo Gloria! Glory to God Alone!
