Happy Lord’s Day and thank you for joining us for our corporate worship gathering! Each week, we gather together to remember that God is Holy, we are sinners, and that Jesus saves us from our sins. In that, we’re reminded that no matter how many times we fail, our Savior never fails. He is perfect in every way. And because of the work of our Savior, and to all who receive Him, the Father has given the right to become children of God (Jn 1:12).

Today we welcome Jerry Conner to our pulpit. Jerry serves as Executive Director of the Kansas City Kansas Baptist Association (KCKBA). Prior to this role, he served in various roles as a church planter and pastor in the Kansas City area and in Vancouver, British Columbia! The KCKBA is doing good work in our area. I am thankful for them and for Jerry coming to preach today!

There are many announcements in the bulletin for you to be aware of! Please read it. There are two notable announcements I’d like to draw your attention to. On Sunday, June 5th (two weeks from today), we will have a Parent/Child dedication during the worship service and our Family Fellowship Meal after our worship service. You do not need to sign-up for the meal. However, if you would like to be a part of the parent/child dedication, please sign-up in the foyer.

We will soon be transitioning to a new church management system. Breeze has served us well over the past several years. However, as technology and our own internal needs have changed, Breeze is no longer a sustainable solution as we look toward the future needs of our church. We have identified a new solution that we are confident will serve us well for many years. We are in the process of transitioning our data. More information will be provided in the upcoming weeks.

A special note to our visitors…thank you for being here! I love this church. This church loves one another. We deeply love Jesus and we desire to live for his glory. I hope you feel that love as you gather with us today. If you have any questions about our church, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me (or find me before/after the service). My email address is nathan@westhaven.church.
