Welcome to West Haven this morning! We are excited to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with you today. Maybe you’re a long-time member or this is your first time in a church, thanks for being here. It will be a good day!

We’ll open God’s Word to John 11. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” That was not an empty promise. It was a statement about an empty tomb. Jesus rose from the dead so that whoever might believe may have eternal life.

Jesus’ resurrection and His promise of eternal life are the most important facts we know. They can seem like theory until you stare death in the face. Then you can rejoice knowing Jesus won the victory over your worst enemy.

Our database provider Planning Center implemented additional safeguards to protect personal information. Email addresses and phone numbers are no longer visible in the directory to prevent exploitation by scammers. Instead, a “Contact Me” button allows secure communication. This was a wise move by Planning Center, and I’m thankful for it.

For those who don’t yet have a church home, we invite you to consider membership here. If you have questions, scan the QR Code on the back of the chairs, complete a card, and put it in the basket between the doors in the foyer, or talk to us. We would love to have a conversation with you.
