Today we continue the series “An Invitation.” Today we open to Psalm 16 to see our Lord invite us to experience the blessings of God in times of trouble. God’s Word is always timely, inerrant, and makes a difference in our lives today.

Today is also our Parent/Child Dedication! We will ask the parents, and you, to participate in three ways.

  1. Parents will affirm their kid(s) is in their stewardship but that he/she ultimately belongs to the Lord.
  2. We ask parents to publicly and solemnly vow to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord
  3. We ask the church to pray for, encourage, and support parents as they raise their children.

We ask the parents to introduce themselves, and their kid(s), and tell us about themselves. We also have a useful gift for each couple. Then we’ll pray for God’s hand to be on them as they raise their children. West Haven, you are a great church for parents to raise kids and teens! Many of you serve diligently to put the Word of God in their hearts. Thank you for all you do for them and the kingdom.

Tonight is our hymn sing at 6:30. There is more information elsewhere in your bulletin. We hope to see you!

Because of your generous giving toward summer camp for students, we were able to lower the cost from $390 per student to $200! That makes a significant difference for families! Your generosity honors God and blesses people!

Our Good Friday service will be similar to last year. If you were here last year, you know it was powerful. Nathan has reworked it with more of an evangelistic emphasis, so this is an opportunity to bring people with you!

And Easter is sneaking up on us. It’s March 31 this year, and there’s more information in your bulletin today about that morning!
