Today is a great day! We start with two baptisms, which are always a blessing! Then you’ll hear from our Security Director Dan Osborne on updated security measures we are putting in place. Pastor Nathan will bring the Word today as we continue in the series “An Invitation.” Thank you, Jesus, for the blessings you are giving us in these days!

Check the bulletin for information about our Good Friday and Easter service in two weeks. It’s the best time of the year to invite a friend (even better than Christmastime.)

Last week I mentioned a fund-raising banquet for Insight Women’s Center in Lawrence. The fund-raiser is from 6 p.m. to 8:30 on Thursday, April 11, 2024. The deadline to reserve a place is March 28.

Susan Perez and I are “table hosts.” If you want to sign up, let us know. It will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 200 McDonald Drive, in Lawrence.

The speaker is Rebekah Hagan. She has a unique perspective on teenage pregnancy, abortion, and abortion pill reversal. She was pregnant at age 17. She had a second pregnancy in her first year of college. During this second pregnancy, she started a medical abortion, but she was one of the first women to take the Abortion Pill Reversal Regimen. Her healthy son was born in 2013 as a result! She is a passionate advocate for grace-centered outreach.

Susan Perez works there. Ronda Wager volunteers there. I hope you’ll go to their website and see the amazing blessing they are in this area. They support women and men, teach God’s Word, and operate Selah House, a home where four women can safely bring their babies to term. Their website is https://insightlawrence.org/en/
