It is good that we gather on this Lord’s Day to worship King Jesus. We rejoice in another baptism this morning. We also want to pray for the adults and students who will spend this week in Salina, Kansas at “Super Summer,” which is sponsored by the Kansas-Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists.

About a month ago, we restarted free donut distribution to businesses in Tonganoxie. Donna Gambrill, Terri Brest, Ronda Wager, and Kathy Link make the donuts early on Tuesday morning. Then they distribute them to local businesses. I have received very positive feedback from this. To continue, we need to purchase a new donut machine so please pray with us about that. Donna is checking into a refurbished model.

You can help in this work. We could use some delivery drivers on Tuesdays. You would start about 9-9:15 and spend about 30-45 minutes. It’s even quicker if there are two of you in a vehicle. For more information or to find out how to participate, call Donna at 816-810-2665. We do this to reach out into our community and demonstrate that we love them and love our Lord.

Remember that “Faith and Family Day” is this Saturday. You can still purchase discount tickets by following the instructions elsewhere in this bulletin. This is a great way to bring a lost person with you so they can hear the gospel. And if you are not sure you can bring someone, please join us anyway. We are going to meet before the game. It will be a good time of fellowship.

We’ve been blessed with several visitors this summer. I encourage you to look around today and introduce yourself to someone you do not know. Let’s be a welcoming church!
