A Note From Pastor Mike Bronson
Many of you know my oldest son David, his wife Margaret, and their four kids, Katie, Jack, Seamus, and Alfie. David was on staff here in the early 2010s. Tara and I have joked that David has “most favored child” status because he has given us four grandkids. However, we may have to revoke that status because they are moving to Pennsylvania at the start of August!
We are blessed to have them at West Haven today and the next two Sundays. I’ve asked David to be in the pulpit today and the 24th. I am confident you will be blessed as he expounds the word today.
And thank you for loving on them over the years. I know they love you as well. And so do I and Pastor Nathan! Thanks for being here today.
A Note From Pastor Nathan LaFave
Today, we are introducing the West Haven Growth Track! The purpose of the Growth Track is this: we want to help visitors (and even regular attenders) know who we are, connect/join with us, and be involved with groups where they can learn, grow, and serve! The local church is a primary way God has chosen to work in His people and the Growth Track is designed to help you be more intentionally involved at West Haven!
Here is a summary of the Growth Track. There are handouts in the foyer with additional information:
- 4 Week Challenge – Attend West Haven for Four Consecutive Sundays!
- Lunch With The Pastors – Where you can learn more about West Haven!
- Become Members – Church Membership is Biblical and we hope you will join us!
- Join a Bible Fellowship Class/Group – A place to grow spiritually!
- Begin Serving – Use your gifts to serve others!
We prayerfully hope that the Growth Track will help us achieve our overall vision of seeing People Saved, Lives Changed, and Jesus Glorified! In that vein, we echo the prayer of the Apostle Paul:
“I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the mighty working of his strength.” (Ephesians 1:17-19 CSB)
