If you are visiting with us this morning, thank you so much for being here. If I haven’t met you, I would love to do so. I’ll be in the foyer afterward. I hope we can touch base and have a brief visit. Again, thanks for coming!
We come to worship this morning heavy hearts this morning. Russia has invaded Ukraine. China is being aggressive with Taiwan. And we remember that Jesus said, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.”
So in the meantime, we pray. We pray for the church in Ukraine and the people of Ukraine. We pray for global peace. We pray God would raise up strong leaders in the West. We thank God that we do not wake up to war in our backyards. We grieve that some do. And we pray that through this all, many people would come to believe Jesus as Lord.
