It’s good to see you this morning! We continue today in the series “Four Pillars of Positive Change.” There are four simple goals we want to achieve in 2023.

  1. A 10% or more increase in Sunday morning worship.
  2. A 10% or more increase in Children’s Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowship classes.
  3. At least 12 baptisms (one a month).
  4. One new Adult Bible Fellowship class.

To achieve those goals – and to set the table for a great future together – we introduced the first “Pillar of Positive Change” last week. It’s regular attendance and participation in the weekly worship gathering. If you weren’t here last week, please go to our website and listen to the sermon. As a staff, we feel a strong sense of urgency to lean into this as a church. And it will bear fruit in your life, and the life of West Haven!

Today we introduce the second “Pillar of Positive Change,” and that is a “Culture Of Invitation.” Find Mark 1 as we consider what Jesus meant when He said, “I will make you fishers of men.” I think you will be surprisingly encouraged by this passage of God’s Word.

Tonight, is our monthly prayer meeting. Childcare is available. Eph 6:18 says, “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.”

Be sure to sign up to be part of the PTC Carnival at Tonganoxie Elementary School this Saturday! This is one of our most significant outreach events of the year, so I hope you’ll join us there!

Please note the Vision 3:16 Informational Meeting on March 4 at 10 a.m. Larry Merry will come from Jefferson City, Mo that morning to explain the trip. Come with your questions. If you can’t make it, please send someone to take notes for you. It’s important this meeting be in person.

Also, please note that we would like to do VBS this year. If you would be willing to help with that, please contact Jennifer Belcher.
