West Haven Kids is committed to teaching children the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want kids to know that salvation is only for those united to Christ. We teach kids all about the sinless life, sacrificial death, and glorious resurrection of Jesus. We treasure the good news of the Gospel of Jesus, and we call children to turn from their sins and believe in Him.
Jesus loves children. We do, too.

We love kids, and your child’s safety is one of our top priorities. When you head down the stairs to check-in, you’ll find that we have implemented a comprehensive system to ensure the security and well-being of your little ones.
Upon arrival, each child will receive a personalized nametag, while you, the parent or guardian, will be provided with a matching pick-up sticker. This system is in place to guarantee a safe and efficient pick-up process at the end of the service or whenever you need to collect your child.
To further reinforce our commitment to safety, all our volunteers and staff members have undergone background checks, and we maintain security cameras in every room. You can trust us to care for your children as if they were our own.
We strive to make the check-in and check-out process as quick and convenient as possible. To streamline your experience, we kindly request some essential information. For your first visit, consider saving time by pre-registering your children.
Nursery
Newborn – 18 months
Our dedicated nursery caregivers provide a nurturing and safe environment for your little ones. Rest assured, parents can attend our Bible Fellowship Groups and worship services with peace of mind, knowing their children are in safe hands.

Brown Room
Preschool
18 months – 5 years
At West Haven, children in the preschool age group embark on a delightful journey of learning. They engage in fun Bible songs, captivating Bible stories to share with their parents, create exciting crafts to take home, and memorize verses from the Bible. Even at this tender age, children grasp the fundamental truths of the gospel.

3 yrs (and potty trained) – 4 yrs: Orange Room
Preschool

Grade School
Kindergarten to 6th Grade
Experience the vibrancy of West Haven Kids for grade school children! We offer classes tailored to Kindergarteners through 6th graders, beginning at 8:45 am. We also have Children’s Church during the 10 a.m. Worship Service hour for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Location: Lower Level, Children’s Wing
- Kindergarten – 2nd grade: Red Room (Sunday School and Worship for Kids Church.)
- 3rd – 4th grade: Purple Room (Sunday School only. Parents pick up before Worship to join them.)
- 5th – 6th grade: Blue Room (Sunday School only. Parents pick up before Worship to join them.)
Awana exists to see children know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. At Awana, your children have the opportunity to memorize, study, and learn life lessons from the Bible, to help them grow spiritually, and have a great time while participating in exciting games and activities.
The name Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15:
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.
Awana clubs meet on Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the school year.
2 & 3 year olds
Puggles
Puggles® recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical truth at church and equipping parents to teach them at home.
3 to 5 year olds
Cubbies
Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.
K to 2nd grade
Sparks
Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
3rd to 6th Grade
T&T
The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids the truth of God’s Word, trains them to follow Him and practice His grace.
Kids Church is held during our worship gathering at 10:00am for kids in kindergarten through the second grade. Led by a team of incredible volunteers, our mission is to share the truth of God’s Word in an effective way at an appropriate age level. Check your child in at the Kids Church area before the service. After church is dismissed, parents return to the Kids Church area to pick up their child.
Children are also encouraged and welcome to attend our regular worship gathering. As such, we defer to the discernment of the parents in determining if you place your child in Kids Church or keep them with you during the Worship Gathering.
