West Haven, a local congregation, will offer a community job fair, on Thursday, February 16th, which is open to anyone from the community looking for work.
The job fair is part of a national movement, facilitated through the nonprofit organization Better Together, of churches offering unique job fair experiences which are focused on making the job searching experience more relational and empowering.
The job fair will feature local businesses hiring now, community resources sharing about services, and volunteers from the church and community offering one-on-one job coaching and moral support.
We are delighted to offer this job fair to job seekers in the area. At West Haven, we love God, we love each other, and we love our community. There are real physical needs that need to be met in Tonganoxie and the surrounding communities. This job fair is one way that we are seeking to love our neighbor. -Nathan LaFave, Associate Pastor

In addition, job seekers attending will have access to resources and services to help them find work and meet the needs their family may have beyond employment.
